Students have a reading partner that they are collaborating with on this project, and each pair has a topic question related to their science unit. Students will be responsible for teaching the topic and relevant vocabulary to the rest of the class in a joint presentation. They will also produce a non-fiction poster that includes all of the important information to teach their concept, including some of the features of non-fiction texts that we have been talking about in class (e.g., title, headings, pictures, captions, labels, glossary).
